On November 8th, the people of the United States of America voted to elect Donald Trump as their 45th President. This decision has sparked controversy and protests worldwide. The United States is our closest geographic neighbour and an important part of the Canadian economy. Their politics affect Canada, and Canadians. On January 10th 2017, exactly 10 days before the inauguration of President Elect Donald Trump, we are hosting a community conversation on the results of the American Election of Donald Trump, and what it means for Canada. The conversation will run from 7-9PM at Thornhill Community Centre Library.
