两华裔担任联邦保守党影子内阁成员和评论员党领的选举至少在18个月之后

联邦保守党在今年的联邦大选中败落，由执政党变为官方反对党。安布罗斯担任临时党领，她近日表示，正式新党领的选举至少将在18个月之后。

在保守党的影子内阁中，温哥华京士威选区国会议员黄陈小萍担任小生意事务评论员。她在上届联邦保守党政府中曾任耆老事务国务部长。

Wellington–Halton Hills选区国会议员庄文浩则担任环境和气候变化副评论员。他曾担任前保守党内阁枢密院主席、政府间事务兼体育部长，后因不满总理哈珀提出动议承认魁北克是加拿大联邦里的一个“民族”（Nation）而辞去所有内阁职务。他为平衡国会议员及各党党领的权力而提出的私人「改革法案」得到跨党派支持，该法案今年6月通过。据媒体报道，他有可能参加保守党党领的竞选。
