Algonquin - Report Date : October 05, 2015
Dominant Colour : Red/Orange
Colour Change : 100% - Leaf Fall : 10%
Best viewing : Fall colour is progressing very fast. Some of the best maple viewing will be this weekend. Orange, yellow, burgundy and RED are all on display. A few trails that have a good view of the spectacular colour change are: Hardwood Lookout, Peck Lake, Track and Tower, Centennial Ridges, Lookout, Booth's Rock, and the Beaver Pond. Just a drive along the Highway 60 corridor is very rewarding also. Enjoy your trip to Algonquin Park. For more information on the status and the history of the colour peak please go to the Algonquin Park Fall Colour Report for more detail and to checkout the recent Images of Algonquin Park and the colour changes. |
