随着泛美运动会及泛美残运会的召开,多伦多地区将举办多项免费活动。免费活动从7月10日起登场,向本地市民及远道而来的旅游者展现安大略的多元文化、美食、艺术及体育项目。
市政府广场泛美狂欢节(PANAMANIALive):坐落在市政府前面的菲腊广场将举办泛美狂欢节(Panamania),广场将设有巨型电视屏幕,除了10日晚实况转播开幕式内容之外,还有130场演出,展现美洲大陆风情、夜间焰火表演、以及每日赛事。每天晚上7:30还将举行奖牌获得者的表彰仪式。
湖滨中心安大略庆祝区(Ontario'sCelebration Zone):全新装修的湖滨中心CelebrationZone将在38天赛事期间全面展示安大略的风情,呈现500场免费活动。其中包括晚间音乐会、戏剧、舞蹈、知名厨师烹饪表演、农夫市场、拉丁及加勒比文艺节目、残障艺术家表演、原住民表演、法裔文化表演、水上游戏、400尺高空滑索、以及100多个适于家庭的活动和演出。
多伦多骄傲馆(PrideHouseTO):展现本地及外国的LGBT艺术家、泛美国家饮食、现场赛事播报、瑜伽、故事会、舞蹈班及本地及拉丁美洲的现代舞蹈等表演。
Yonge-Dundas 广场法裔盛典(Franco-Fête):展现安大略的法裔文化,以及全加拿大的知名并获奖的法裔艺术家的作品,以及来自全美洲的艺术精华。
约克城堡的原住民舞台:FortYork展现第一民族的艺术、文化及体育,再现原住民的村落、音乐标案、舞蹈、戏剧、电影、艺术家访谈、体育项目等。
酿酒区(DistilleryDistrict)拉丁舞台:展现拉丁美洲国家的文艺作品,包括各种音乐表演、烹饪表演、舞蹈课堂、照片展等。
酿酒区加勒比舞台:展现本地加勒比裔的多种艺术、体育明星参加的烧烤、以及食品展示、钢鼓乐队表演、巴哈马狂欢舞、儿童游艺。每周日早上还有加勒比风格的早餐。
安省省长韦恩表示:“泛美运动会及泛美残运会不仅仅是体育盛事,也是庆祝在我们所有人身上的人文精神,并有机会让美洲人民欢聚在一起。为了把本届运动会办成史上最好的一届,安大略将在七大庆祝区域中,把文化、游艺和多元化的庆祝提升到全新的高度。我鼓励每个人利用这一千载难逢的机会,感受运动会的激情,并把我们美好、多元的安省呈现给全世界。”

Ontario is supporting seven exciting celebration sites for the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games, where locals and visitors alike will have the opportunity to enjoy diverse cultural, culinary, arts and sport programming, starting July 10th:
Ontario's Celebration Zone at Harbourfront Centre will feature 38 days of the best of Ontario, with over 500 free events and activities. Highlights include: nightly concerts, theatre and dance productions, celebrity chef demonstrations and a weekly farmers' market, Latino-Hispanic and Caribbean events, performances featuring artists with disabilities, First Nations and Francophone showcases, water-based sport demonstrations, an accessible 400-foot zip line and more than 100 family-friendly activities and shows.
PrideHouseTO at The 519 and Barbara Hall Park will offer art and culture installations by local and international LGBT artists, Pan American food and drink, live Games coverage, yoga, storytelling, dance classes, kids and youth programming, performances by urban dancers and drag performers, Canada, Brazil and Latin America T-Dance, jazz in the park and interactive sport activities.
Franco-Fête at Yonge-Dundas Square will showcase Franco-Ontarian culture by featuring award-winning and multi-platinum selling Francophone artists from across Canada, as well as artists from the Americas.
Aboriginal Pavilion at Fort York will highlight First Nation arts, culture and sports, including a cultural village with six traditional houses representing several First Nations, musical performances, dance and theatre, artists talks, film screenings, a sports zone with lacrosse and soccer demonstrations, and an artisan and food marketplace.
PANAMANIA Live at Nathan Phillips Square feature more than 130 acts from across the Americas, nightly fireworks and jumbo video screens with live Opening Ceremony and daily Games coverage. Victory celebrations for medal-winning athletes will be held nightly at 7:30 p.m.
Latam Pavilion at the Distillery District will feature products from Latin American countries, national and community musical performers, international culinary demonstrations, dance lessons, and photography exhibits.
The Caribbean Pavilion at the Distillery District will present a variety of activities including an art exhibition showcasing local Caribbean artists, an Athletes BBQ and Food Expo, musical and dance performances featuring steel pan performers and Junkanoo dancers, kids day, and a traditional Sunday morning Caribbean-style breakfast. |
