Lia Grimanis 在青少年时逃离有虐待行为的家庭，曾经无家可归。

如今，她是一位成功的企业家。

2006年，她创办了非牟利团体Up with Women，帮助无家可归的女性摆脱困境。

她通过导师计划，让商界人士辅导无家可归的女性，帮助她们重建职业和生活。

她说：“你过去的困境不重要，重要的是你现在所取得的成绩。我想告诉人们：我们应该感到自豪，因为我们生存下来了。”
